Micro Metals is committed not only to excellence in the powder metal arena, but also in its philanthropic efforts. We continue to support organizations and programs that strive to benefit the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee and beyond.
Allardt Elementary School Science Department
Micro Metals has adopted the science department of this local elementary school. Not only do we support them monetarily, but individuals from the firm visit the school and deliver talks on aspects of science used at MMI.
Faith Christian Academy Science Department
Micro Metals also supports the science and technology education of students at this faith-based institution. From providing for biology specimens to physics experiments, MMI has assisted their science program with yearly grants.
Manna House Ministries
This program provides resources to meet the various needs of those suffering with addiction and to support their families. Micro Metals is humbled to assist this ministry in any way possible.
Children's Center of the Cumberlands
Through yearly donations, Micro Metals supports this child advocacy center that is dedicated to providing a coordinated interagency, multidisciplinary team approach to child physical and sexual abuse.
Best Friends Sanctuary
Best Friends Sanctuary is dedicated to the humane care and population control of domestic animals in Fentress County. Micro Metals makes quarterly donations to help with this effort.
Boy Scouts of America
The longest philanthropic relationship Micro Metals has is with the Boy Scouts of America. We have been donating to and working with this organization for more than 20 years.
Fentress County Food Bank
The food bank's goal is to provide food for those who have a need. The bank is staffed by volunteers and is stocked by donations. Micro Metals makes regular donations to help with this effort.
Fentress County Library
One of Micro Metals' most rewarding programs is helping to support the Fentress County Library. We continue to provide both books and computers for the children's program.
MD Anderson Cancer Center
MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas, is at the forefront of research in gastrointestinal cancer. Micro Metals provides a yearly stipend to doctors who work in this field.
York Institute Lady Dragon Soccer Team
The girls' soccer team of York Institute provides both an athletic outlet as well as teamwork experience for young women of Jamestown, Tennessee. It is Micro Metals' honor to support this group of young ladies.
Tennessee Technological University
